How a Facebook post looks as an image

    Light or dark

    Facebook’s light and dark themes.

Likes and loves with your numbers, plus comments and shares.

  • 3

    For Stories

Good to know

Images that get shared

  • Portrait for feeds

A 1080 × 1350 image takes the most room in Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn feeds.

  • Story size for Stories

1080 × 1920 fills the screen. Keep the card in the middle, away from the top and bottom.

  • Contrast with the background

A dark card on a light background, or the other way round, keeps the post the first thing people see.

  • PNG for text

PNG keeps text sharp. JPG makes smaller files when the image is mostly a photo.

Facebook Post to Image FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do I share a Facebook post as an image?

Paste the text here, add the Page’s name and picture, then download it.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no watermark.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Pictures and screenshots are read and drawn in your browser, and never leave your device.

Can I make a post look like someone else wrote it?

Please don’t. It’s meant for your own posts and posts you have permission to share. Passing off made-up posts as someone else’s misleads people and breaks every network’s rules.
