What fits in an Instagram bio
The generator writes within these limits, so what you copy works when you paste it.

Spaces, emojis and line breaks all count. Some emojis count as two characters, so the generator leaves a little room.

Line breaks are allowed
Put each idea on its own line: who you are, what you offer, what to do next. It reads faster on a phone.

Links go in their own field
Links in the bio text aren’t clickable. Your profile has a separate links field for up to five; point to it with “link below” or an arrow.

Is the Instagram bio generator free?
Yes. You can generate bios without signing up. We only use what you type to write the bios and don’t store it.
How do I add line breaks to my Instagram bio?
Copy a bio from the generator and paste it into Edit profile. The line breaks are kept. In the Instagram app you can also press return while typing.
Should I use emojis in my Instagram bio?
A few help: they break up text and draw the eye to the call to action. Use them to replace words, not to decorate every line.
