The generator writes within these limits, so what you copy works when you paste it.

Spaces, emojis and line breaks all count. That’s room for two or three short lines.

Paste a link into your About Me and it works. When a bio points to one, it ends with a colon and leaves room for it.

Connections show separately
Linked accounts like Twitch, YouTube or Steam appear on your profile on their own, so the bio can skip them.

What is the character limit for a Discord bio?
Your About Me can be up to 190 characters, including spaces, emojis and line breaks. The generator keeps every bio under that limit.
Is the Discord bio generator free?
Yes. You can generate bios without signing up. We only use what you type to write the bios and don’t store it.
How do I change my Discord bio?
Open User Settings, then Profiles, and paste it into About Me. With Nitro, the Server Profiles tab lets you set one per server.
Can I put links in my Discord bio?
Yes. Links in an About Me are clickable. Paste yours after a bio that ends with a colon.
Can I use Markdown in my About Me?
Yes, Discord’s formatting works there, like bold and italic. The generator writes plain text, so you can add formatting where you want it.
