Screenshots
From a quick grab to a finished image
- 1
Paste it in
Take a screenshot and press ⌘V or Ctrl+V on the page. It goes straight onto the stage.
- 2
Small ones grow
A notification or a comment starts at twice its size so it reads well. Export at 2× or 3× to keep it crisp.
- 3
Your own background
A gradient, two colors of your own, or any picture, blurred as much as you like.
- 4
Frame it
A window, a browser with your address, or a frosted glass edge. Or none, with soft corners and a shadow.
Good to know
Images that get shared
Portrait for feeds
A 1080 × 1350 image takes the most room in Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn feeds.
Story size for Stories
1080 × 1920 fills the screen. Keep the card in the middle, away from the top and bottom.
Contrast with the background
A dark card on a light background, or the other way round, keeps the post the first thing people see.
PNG for text
PNG keeps text sharp. JPG makes smaller files when the image is mostly a photo.

Screenshot Beautifier FAQ
Questions, answered.
How do I paste a screenshot?
Copy or take a screenshot, then press ⌘V on a Mac or Ctrl+V on Windows anywhere on the page.
Why does my screenshot look blurry?
It was made bigger than it was taken. Export at 2× or 3×, or take the screenshot on a bigger screen.
Can I use my own picture as the background?
Yes. Pick the image tile under Background, choose a picture and blur it as much as you like.
Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Pictures and screenshots are read and drawn in your browser, and never leave your device.
Can I make a post look like someone else wrote it?
Please don’t. It’s meant for your own posts and posts you have permission to share. Passing off made-up posts as someone else’s misleads people and breaks every network’s rules.
